Children are the future stars. Responsibility of overall future development of the nation lies on their shoulder. So, they need to be guided properly in order to bring them in the right track. But sometimes children are forced to leave their homes and live as street children or child labour due to poor economic status of home and lack of proper love and care from their home and society .
In order to give love and care and bring those children in the right track, FSCN has been running various child empowerment programs. It has facilitated child group formation and conducted various programs like: child education, child saving, parents education, extra activities for child, environment education, leadership and group management training, moral and behaviour education. It has also encouraged them to get involved in income generating activities as a livelihood support to poorer parents.
As a part of Child Empowerment Program, FSCN has been providing scholarship to those girl students, who are very poor but intelligent. This scholarship program is preformed with the help of individual and organizations who are willing to support economically and socially backwarded community.
FSCN and the local community groups are directly involved while selecting the deserving candidates for the scholarship.
Every year, a fixed number of girls are getting scholarship. Those girls are from very poor and uneducated families. Before receiving this scholarship, they used to go to school but very irregularly as they also have to get involved in income generating activities.
